Love this place. Great seafood and service at fair prices. I have been eating there for nearly 40 years since they were located on Rt 130 in a tiny building. Always fresh food and excellent service. Terrific local restaurant with a bar.
We went here a couple times for business lunch and once a dinner and the food is typically good and consistent. Overall not that large inside so I wouldn't recommend bringing large groups. It is a nice atmosphere overall and good service.
My husband and I have been coming to Cap'n Cats since it was recommended by a co-worker about 10 years ago. We cross the bridge an average of 3 times a month because we love this place. Theirs is, hands down, the best Clams Casino I've ever had. Their French Fries are truly their own. How do they get them so crispy and DELICIOUS? It's no frills (they don't have salads or desserts) but fresh seafood. Servers are courteous and friendly and attentive. Just love this place!
purchased crab legs for the eve of christmas eve....they have the very best!!!!! Also got some New England Clam chowder and larger chowder crackers for some friends and dropped it off to them for a quick dinner!! Yummy!!!! Seafiod is great both eat in and take out! They have a selection of beer to go too!!
I have been going here for 20+ years and have never been let down. The only thing that has changed is smaller quantities. The Crab cakes are a must !
